HOW TO MOUNT THE PC HARD-DRIVE OF YOUR PC, SO YOU CAN SEE AND USE HIS FILES

(mp3, pictures, avis)

1. find your pc lan ip.

2. Make sure your dreambox is connected to your LAN (start/run/cmd then type "ping "dreambox_ip_adress")

3. Goto your pc and share the whole drive c:

4. Now goto dreambox and press menu, settings, expert setup > communication setup then "mount"

5. Enter the following ip:

internal ip of the pc
cifs
Dir: c

Localdir: /hdd

Options: rw (read-write) or ro (read only)

User: usernameof your windows login

Pass: password of your windows login

Press mount

Make sure that you are not blocket from a pc firewall

automount ticked

then save.

6. Turn dreambox on/off to check mount is stored goto /hdd and you will see the folders and files of your pc drive.

7. If you have more hdd on your pc, then make more foldes inside /var/mnt/cifs and follow the same procedure.
